Has a tendency to turn yellow with age.Zinc whiteA permanent white, used by artists. Mixes well with all colors. Has a tendency to become brittle if exposed to the weather.TitaniumAn excellent opaque base for interior work. Retains its whiteness; should be mixed with 20 per cent zinc oxide.
In addition to white lead as a base for paint mixtures, it is usually wise to add a percentage of zinc oxide. Lead has a tendency to turn into a fine powdered chalk after it has dried for two or three years, The addition of pigments lessens this tendency. Zinc oxide may also be used as a base, but paint made of this material will eventually crack, which makes it difficult to repaint over such a surface. The majority of painters advise, as a paint base, a mixture of about 30 per cent zinc to 70 per cent lead; this is claimed to overcome the defects of both materials. Titanium oxide, a very white pigment, is often combined with zinc oxide, in the proportion of 20 per cent zinc oxide to 80 per cent titanium oxide. It has excellent hiding power, and stands up well under exposure. This pigment is frequently used by paint manufacturers for ready-mixed interior and exterior paints and enamels.
On The Other Hand See Sparse Interior Promise:Jeep Gladiator: It's been decades since Jeep built a pickup, but the rugged Gladiator concept looks set to pick up where the Scrambler left off in the 1980s. Its boxy design and sparse interior promise rugged functionality, while features like a large canvas sunroof, folding rear seat and expandable pickup bed add versatility. A vintage-style Jeep grille, front fenders and "side mount" spare tire add a certain old-school appeal.
