Laboratory For Architectural Research: A one-day International Architecture Symposium at Source 22 to provide the basis for an enticing dialogue between the disciplines of Architecture and Engineering. An initiative of the 'Year of the Built Environment 2004', QUT School of Design and Built Environment, School of Construction Management and Property, School of Civil Engineering, and s-Lab space laboratory for architectural research and design.

On The Other Hand See Three Architectural Exhibits:Exhibits focused on residential products and services for both the trade and consumers.Design exhibits including residential work of New England architects and interior designers, a national student/young designer housing competition and 50 years of featured residential projects from Architectural Record's Record Houses were also on display.Registrants totaled over 7,500 guests - far exceeding initial expectations. 16 % of people in attendance were consumers invited to a special three-hour reception during the event.
Santiago Calatrava : The Architect's StudioModels, sketches and designs created by international architect Santiago Calatrava arrived in Santa Barbara with the opening of the University Art Museum's new exhibit, 'Santiago Calatrava: The Architect's Studio.'Organized by the Henry Art Gallery in Seattle and curated by Kirsten Kiser, the show is the second in a series of three architectural exhibits at the museum.
