Interior Design Week: Every year local & International architects and Interior Design Week designers presented their newest ideas to hundreds of their enthusiastic colleagues.Both speakers and audiences alike positively received the forum.From 2006, Contract+Design.aisa forum will extend to be a one-week program, 'Design Week 2006', which will comprise international forums and workshops, two exhibitions, design tour and other networking activities.The six-day event explores the mutual influence of design and material products from a global perspective. This year, a special focus will be placed on hospitality design and energy savings.
Shanghai Design Week 2006Design Week 2006 will be launched in Shanghai, March 29-April 2, 2006.For the fourth year in a row, Design Week 2006 is hosted by VNU Exhibitions Asia.In the past three years, Contract+Design.asia forum gained remarkable success.Bookings for the dinner will open in February. Entry is open to all Australian-based Interior Design ampus designers, Interior Design ampus decorators, Interior Design ampus architects and other design professionals. Entries are encouraged from individuals, groups, partnerships and those working in larger practices. All projects entered must have been completed between 1 September 2004 and 31 December 2005 and may not have been entered into the 2005 Interior Design ampus Design Awards. An Award is given to projects that demonstrate the highest level of achievement within their category in accordance with the judging criteria.

Wa Named Interior Design unique Designer for Burj Dubai HotelWa international has been named as Interior Design unique design consultant on Emaar Properties' Burj Dubai Lake hotel project.The Dubai-based firm will be in charge of the design of 198 guest rooms, 626 serviced residential apartments and all public areas related to the multi storey development, currently under construction."We are very pleased to be part of such a dynamic team.It was important to develop a distinctive, progressive Interior Design unique design to compliment the architectural exterior as created by architects W S Atkins Overseas.""The curvilinear design of the building has resulted in some very unique and exciting spaces,' said Claire Craig, design director, wa international."
