Our Wall Tapestry designs combine two parallel histories: we take the finest tapestry traditions from Old Europe circa 1650- 1850, and our inspiration from New America, circa the same period 1650-1850.
The result is a rich and colorful hand woven Wall Tapestry panorama of our history and cultural life, from the early treasures of American Folk Art crafted mostly by European settlers, to early Colonial and succeeding Federal styles based on the English ‘Robert Adams’ classics modified, and last to the west coast pioneers , all of course to suit the needs of our New World. And we capture the heart and spirit of America with dynamic portrayals of selected American historical sites and motifs from New Englands’ Covered Bridges, to Mount Vernon, Yosemite , Washington and Yale College.
