Asphalt Blocks are extremely durable,
and can tolerate heavy loads, while being virtually impervious to
water, making them suitable for exterior/interior applications;
such as loading docks and outside storage. They will remain in
place in situations where water is a factor. Conversely, they
should not be used in oily or high temperature areas. |
Jennison-Wright asphalt blocks
are composed of crushed rock, stone dust filler, and special
asphalt cement, heated and compressed under a pressure of 2,400
psi.
They are normally 5"
or 6" x 12", and are made in thicknesses of 2", 2-1/2", and 3".
They have been used in this country since approximately 1880, and
continue to serve the purpose for which they were originally
created, a phenomenon in today's world |
